Gotta Dance Studio Performance Team

The Gotta Dance Studio offers opportunities for dancers
to join the well-traveled Performance Team. The team has traveled to NYC to perform at the Statue of
Liberty and also to Gettysburg, PA to perform at the 145th Anniversary
Reenactment of the Battle of Gettysburg.
Past years have included performances at Hershey Park, Disney World, Six
Flags, Great Escape, South Street Seaport, on the USS Intrepid and on the
nationally televised Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. This non-competitive
team also offers dancers the opportunity to perform locally throughout the
community.
Dancers who have had at least one year of dance classes
- preferably 2 years - may join the Performance Team. The team is open to dancers of all ages, who demonstrate the
necessary skills. Dancers may join
the Lyrical Team, The Tap Team or The Jazz Team. Some join all three.
Each team meets for an hour each week. There is a strict attendance requirement for classes,
rehearsals and performances.
Routines are usually production number style.
Performance Team members are encouraged to participate
in the many fund raising activities offered by the Gotta Dance Studio Booster
Club. Funds raised may be used by
individual dancers for their trip expenses. Trip costs are broken into monthly installments.
